Revelation — Chapter 7

The 144,000 and the Great Multitude

"These are the ones who have come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

— Rev 7:14

Revelation 7 is the interlude between the sixth and seventh seals — the vision of the 144,000 sealed and the countless multitude from all nations.

🌟 The Great Multitude (7:9-17)

Rev 7:9-10
"After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, 'Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'"
The countless multitude (ochlos polys hon arithmesai auton oudeis edynato) — the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham (Gen 15:5). From every nation, tribe, people, and language — the universality of redemption. Clothed in white (Christ’s righteousness), with palms (victory). The worship: 'Salvation belongs to our God and to the Lamb' — shared sovereignty.
